Pastor Wilson Bugembe decries fake ticket sales and theft at concert

Pastor Wilson Bugembe has raised concerns about counterfeit ticket sales and theft during his 20th Anniversary concert held at Kampala Serena Hotel.

Pastor Wilson Bugembe, leader of Nansana Worship House Church, revealed that several attendees attempted to enter the concert using fake tickets, causing confusion and distress at the venue entrance.

"I warn future organizers holding events at Serena Hotel to be cautious, as there are unscrupulous individuals selling fake tickets. Many revellers were left stranded with counterfeit tickets at the gates," Pastor Bugembe said.

He further disclosed incidents of theft, including phone thefts and the loss of a laptop belonging to a known businessman during the event. "Theft was rampant, with some attendees even spending the night in police custody due to related disturbances," he added.

Pastor Bugembe urges: "Serena Hotel must enhance security measures to protect attendees and prevent such crimes during events."

Despite these challenges, the concert marked a major milestone, celebrating two decades of Pastor Bugembe’s gospel music ministry, drawing large crowds and an additional show due to high demand.
