J&C Pacific Teams Up with PayNet to Transform FMCG Promotions Through the GiftsMart™ AI WhatsApp Platform
J&C Pacific Sdn Bhd has announced a strategic partnership with Payments Network Malaysia (PayNet) to roll out GiftsMart™ — an AI-powered WhatsApp redemption platform designed to simplify FMCG promotions and drive cashless adoption in Malaysia.
GiftsMart lets consumers submit purchase receipts via WhatsApp for instant eligibility checks and gift redemption. The integration with PayNet means MyDebit transactions will be accepted for campaign entry, streamlining redemptions and reducing manual processing for brands running nationwide promotions.
Why it matters: Brands get an automated, scalable way to run promotions; consumers enjoy simpler redemptions; and PayNet furthers its push for wider cashless payment adoption via MyDebit.
According to J&C Pacific CEO CK Lee, GiftsMart removes manual work from loyalty and promo campaigns by using AI to validate receipts and manage fulfilment. PayNet’s Gary Yeoh says the collaboration supports digital payments uptake by making MyDebit-enabled promotions faster and more transparent.
The partners also plan to explore adding other local rails such as DuitNow QR in future phases, expanding payment options for consumers and increasing campaign flexibility for brands.
